A Glance at PT Intan Baru Prana Tbk

PT Intan Baru Prana Tbk (formerly PT Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk) is a company engaged in the trading of commercial transportation equipment and has been part of the INTA Group since 2003. Established on September 4, 1991, the Company initially operated as a financing company until the Financial Services Authority (OJK) revoked its financing business license through Decree No. KEP-8/D.05/2022 on January 31, 2022.

As a follow-up, during the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on March 23, 2022, the Company changed its name to PT Intan Baru Prana Tbk and focused on strengthening its role as a supporting entity for the INTA Group's heavy equipment business. Since the end of 2022, IBP began to expand its business activities into the trading of commercial transportation equipment, with initial penetration in East Kalimantan for the coal mining sector, where first-year sales were dominated by spare parts for INTA Group customers.

In 2024, the Company further expanded by entering the heavy equipment rental line, specifically hauling trucks, as part of a diversification strategy to enhance competitiveness in the heavy equipment and mining services industry.
