In the framework of Financial Inclusion month, on Thursday, October 18, 2018, PT Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (“IBFN”) conducted a seminar for students at SMK Negeri 49 Jakarta (Jakarta State Vocational High School 49) with the theme “Procedures for Granting Financing Facilities.” This is in line with the mandate set forth in Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 82 of 2016 concerning the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion, issued by the Government to expand public access to financial services.
The activity was officially opened by the Director of IBFN, Mr. Alexander Reyza, who expressed his hope that through this event, students would gain sufficient information regarding the terms and financial practices found within Financing Companies. IBFN participated by presenting introductory material on the Non-Bank Financial Industry to 40 12th-grade students. The introduction, delivered by Ms. Yunita R. Riyadi (Compliance Head of IBFN), was given to students from the Accounting and Office Administration majors. On this occasion, she also stated that the purpose of the activity was for the students, along with the teachers, to become more familiar with the various types of financial industries, not just banks, and to obtain information regarding the types and mechanisms of financing offered by IBFN.
