IBF Teaches at SMK Negeri 36 Jakarta
On Wednesday, October 26, 2016, PT Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (“IBF”) delivered a seminar to students at SMK Negeri 36 Jakarta with the theme "Socialization of Capital Goods Financing for Corporations and Small and Medium Enterprises." This is in line with the mandate set forth in Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 82 of 2016 regarding the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion, issued by the Government to expand public access to financial services.
This visit was the second in a series of financial inclusion visits conducted in October 2016 in the North Jakarta area. IBF participated by providing introductory material on the Non-Bank Financial Industry to 120 12th-grade students. The introduction, presented by Ms. Yunita, was given to students from various majors, namely Heavy Equipment Engineering and Light Vehicle Engineering.
Ms. Yunita, the Credit and Risk Management Head of IBF, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity given to IBF to share knowledge at the school. She stated that the purpose of the activity was for the students and teachers to better understand the various types of financial industries, not limited to Banks, and to obtain information regarding the types and mechanisms of financing provided by IBF.
