On Friday, October 21, 2016, located at Inta Institutes, Jakarta, PT Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (IBF) held an educational activity in the form of an 'Introduction to the Non-Bank Financial Industry.' The event was opened by Mr. Alexander Reyza, Director of IBF, followed by a presentation delivered by Ms. Yunita, Credit and Risk Management Head.
The educational class, which took place thanks to the collaboration between IBF and the INTA Training Center, was attended by 20 local residents from the surrounding area of PT Intraco Penta Tbk (IBF's parent company), with the average educational level being high school.
The goal of this educational activity was to provide insight and understanding of financing companies, as well as a brief overview of the financial industry, such as Banks, Insurance, Pension Funds, Capital Markets, etc.
The Company views this financial inclusion activity, mandated by the OJK, as one way to provide wider financial access to all segments of society, and simultaneously as a form of socialization that is expected to generate revenue and inform the public about the types and schemes of financing offered by IBF.
